Gwynedd
Square Presbyterian Church is located on
Sumneytown Pike, one mile south of the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Valley
Forge Road in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest
Presbyterian group in the United States with approximately 2 million
members. The regional and national networks of PCUSA enable Gwynedd Square
to minister to physical and spiritual needs not only locally, but
throughout the world.
The
staff at Gwynedd Square includes Marie Cone, Interim Pastor; David Macbeth, Music Director, Louise M. Gerdelmann, Minister of Music Emerita; Donna J. Stewart, Secretary, Joanna Chancellor, Interim Youth Director, and Nicole Mitchell, Nursery Attendant.

The
congregation is governed by the Session, an elected council of elders (our
name derives from the Greek presbuteros, elder), and moderated by
the pastor. More general matters come before Philadelphia Presbytery
(monthly) and national General Assembly (annual) meetings, where elders and
clergy are represented in equal numbers.
Members
and nonmembers are invited to contact the pastors about wedding ceremonies,
baptisms, and funeral services.
