The music program at Gwynedd
Square has a variety of opportunities for all ages.

Choir Programs
|
The choir programs described
below are active from September to June:
- For children in grades 7
through 12
- Practices 9:25 AM and
11:50 AM each Sunday
- This group sings at least
once a month during the traditional worship service
- For anyone high-school age
or older
- Practices Wednesday
evenings at 7:30 PM
- Open to everyone who likes
to sing (there are no auditions).
- Sings every Sunday at the
Traditional worship service
- Sings a variety of styles
of choral music.
- For all children in third
through sixth grades
- Practices Wednesday
evenings 7:15 - 8:00 PM
- This group sings about
once a month at the traditional service
- For all children in
Kindergarten through second grade
- Practices Wednesday evenings
6:30 - 7:15 p.m.
- This group sings about
once a month at the traditional service

Sonrise
|
- These singers and
instrumentalists lead congregational music for the Contemporary
Service
- Practices Sunday evenings
from 6:30 to 8:15 PM

Band
|
The church band explores a wide
variety of music. It plays in the Traditional worship service several times
a year and plays both sacred and secular music in concerts at several
retirement communities. The band is an intergenerational group (whose ages
span 50 years!), open to adults and children (seventh grade or older).
There are no auditions; anyone who likes to play a band instrument is
welcome. Practices are held on Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 8:15 PM.

Other Programs
|
A part of the children's Sunday school classes (for those
in kindergarten to grade 6) is devoted to music. Songs and anthems
are presented through singing, movement, and playing instruments.
